
The Community Gallery exhibits two
and three dimensional fine and functional artwork. The Community Gallery
welcomes preliminary digital submissions. Should the gallery wish
to see a more complete portfolio presentation, you will be asked to
mail or hand-carry a more complete portfolio to the gallery, or the
curator may request an interview as part of the presentation process.
Please note that Arts Council Community Gallery is
a fine arts gallery and requests professional submissions, including
good digital images, for the preliminary review which means that the
image is free of background clutter, well-lit with color and texture
accurately represented.
The following
information should be part of your submission:
Professional
Resume: Education and Training
Professional Experience in the arts (exhibitions history)
Awards and Honors/Fellowships
Documentation:
Preliminary Review: 3 image files no larger
than 72 dpi jpeg file format for easy transmission to
sandy@acgbr.com. Please include: title, date, medium, dimensions and
price.
Please submit a professional resume or curriculum vitae with your digital
image files.
Secondary
Review: Upon request of the curator, provide a disc with
at least 5 - 10 images of recent work.
The images should be 300 dpi, 5 x 7 print size, jpeg format preferred.
The images should be of work that is currently available. 3-dimensional
artwork should include two views of each piece. No student work please.

the following for a second review:
Biography and
statement:
This includes the artist’s general background information (who, what,
where, when and why) and a more formal artist statement about the artist’s
current artwork.
