Slide and Digital
submission reviews take place on an ongoing basis. Exhibition proposals
are welcomed. Only written submissions are considered. Please do not phone
or walk-in for exhibition consideration.
Artist submissions:
Images: 5 digital or slide images with a numbered description sheet including
title, medium, dimensions, and price. Digital images should be jpegs at
300 dpi. Slides should be labeled with artist name, title, and medium.
Artist information: Artist statement and bio may be submitted by mail,
on disk, or through e-mail. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope
for return of slides.
The Arts Council reserves the right to refuse exhibition of work it deems
inappropriate for display in a public space.
Exhibition
Requirements:
- Actual work should be ready for exhibition as is (framed, finished,
neat, clean).
- For all exhibitions other than group shows, installation of artwork
will be the responsibility of the exhibiting artists and the Gallery Coordinator.
- No art shall be removed from the gallery during an exhibition until
the exhibit has ended unless by prior consent. Art should be removed from
the gallery on the last day of the exhibition at 5:30 p.m. If this is
not possible, other arrangements should be made with the Gallery Coordinator
before the close of the exhibit.
- Exhibited work which is sold during an exhibition, shall be considered
as Arts Council sale and the Arts Council will receive its agreed share,
30%, of the sale price.
- All work should be labeled on the back with name, title, date, and
medium.
