Are you an aspiring performing artist wanting to pursue a career in entertainment? Do you have the talent but can't seem to figure out what's next? This crash course will walk you through some of the industry's most common practices. Learn some of the best tips and tricks to get you moving forward in your career. Some of the topics being covered include:
• Finding Work
• Audition Etiquette and Techniques
• Headshots and Resumes
• Basic Networking and more
I'll be sharing my experiences and what's kept me working. Join me and start the new year by empowering yourself with the information you will need to become a working entertainment professional.
Who should come to this workshop? Actors, dancers, singers, and anyone else interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts/entertainment industry. Headshots and resumes are not required to attend, but they are welcomed for feedback- and you never know when an opportunity may present itself!
DRESS CODE: Casual. Please come dressed comfortably There will be demonstrations and some audience participation. Sneaker/flat friendly.
To provide a more personalized experience, the event has been split into two sessions. Session sizes have been limited to 25 attendees each. This will allow more time for questions and feedback during demonstrations.
Note: Minors under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Parents/guardians do not need to purchase a separate ticket.
