Love Letters, a Play by A. R. Gurney at the Old Governor's Mansion for Valentine's Day

Please join Preserve-Louisiana on February 13 and 14 at the Old Governor's Mansion for A. R. Gurney's Pulitzer Prize Winning Play, Love Letters. Through the time –honored tradition of letter writing, the audience meets Andy and Melissa and follow their love affair from second grade through college, as they grow apart and marry others, while still maintaining a relationship across the miles. Peggy Sweeney-McDonald and Scott Jefferson will take the stage in the title roles with Perry Martin directing.

"Earl and Rose Long" (long time docents Cliff and Linda Normand) will welcome guests to the Old Governor's Mansion and share tales of the Mansion before the play begins. Proceeds benefit Preserve Louisiana. There will be a cash Bar before the show with complimentary champagne, bites and desserts during intermission. Tickets $25 for Preserve Louisiana members and $30 for non-members. Free parking in the adjacent lot.
