Louisiana Earth Day
This year the 29th Annual Louisiana Earth Day will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 1 - 5 PM at the LSU Parker Coliseum. It is a free event and open to the public.
Children will especially enjoy participating in the many hands-on, engaging, learning activities highlighting environmental stewardship of Earth’s resources. Exhibitors include universities, environmental non-profits, government agencies, schools, and more.
Here are a few highlights of what types of exhibits will be there:
Earth for Children, the Recycling Fair, Earth Walk, East Baton Rouge Library Bookmobile, St. Thomas More Recycle Art Show, Red Shoes Labyrinth, the Big Delta Experiment, Sea and Discover, the Wonders of Water, Yuan’s Chinese Dancers, Artemisia Sword Dancers, Lagniappe Dulcimer Society and much more.
