Trained as an architect and jazz musician, Christopher Janney has created interactive light/sound public installations throughout the world, what he calls "Urban Musical Instruments." In 2012, Janney began an exploration of how sound influences visual perception. The finished works each have a separate sound-score composed by Janney.

The new Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital will feature Janney's latest installation "Harmonic Grove" as the main entrance, creating a playful, yet calming and peaceful environment for all those who enter and exit. A work of art made possible due to a generous gift from Turner Industries and Steve and Kathy Nathanson.
