Musselwhite is a New Orleans-based singer, songwriter and slide guitarist who draws on a rich musical legacy via her father, blues legend Charlie Musselwhite. First making a name for himself playing electric guitar and leading the psychedelic rock/blues band Ejaculation in the late 60s, Robinson founded the celebrated instrumental rock fusion band, Woodenhead in 1975, which celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
