 Our Programs

The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge began in 1973 with the broad purpose of connecting our community to local resources and talent. Today, we offer a vast variety of programming to the 11-parish region we happily serve. Find out about some of them below!

Classes & SEminars

Our classes and seminars are a great tool to help address common problems or issues that art professionals may face on a regular basis. Additionally, we offer constructive classes that might lead you to finding a new hobby!

Festivals & Conferences

Nothing brings people together like our festivals do! People from every background come together to enjoy talent aimed at highlighting our diverse Louisiana culture. Conferences like our Arts Summit also create the perfect opportunity to network with other individuals interested in the arts.

Concerts & Events

All of our concerts and events that we host are open to public. Some of them are even free! Among some of the free events that we offer are our Sunday in the Park series and the Baton Rouge Arts Market.

Exhibitions & Residencies

Our exhibitions and residencies are both aimed at achieving the same goal; bring people and art together. By featuring new art exhibitions each month in our Firehouse Gallery, we connect the general public to the artist and allow them the opportunity to experience the artists’ work.
