Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is proud to present EYECON, a juried exhibition at the Shell Gallery that explores the people, moments, and cultural traditions that have shaped Louisiana’s LGBTQ+ community.

EYECON brings together a diverse group of Louisiana artists whose work reflects stories of resilience, activism, identity, joy, and cultural impact. Through a variety of visual mediums, the exhibition honors both well-known and often-overlooked figures, movements, and milestones that have contributed to the rich history of LGBTQ+ life across the state.

Take a Piece Home

See something you love? Every purchase made through the Gallery Store goes directly to the exhibiting artist and supports the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.

Our store is updated with each new exhibition — so what you see today is a reflection of what's on our walls right now. Once a show closes, those pieces are no longer available for purchase online.

Missed a past exhibition? Interested in a specific artist? Give us a call at (225) 344-8558 ext. 205 — we're happy to help.
