Sundays in St. George
ST. GEORGE, LA — A new community tradition begins this fall with Sundays in St. George, a free outdoor concert series happening October 11 & October 18 from 2–6 PM at Highland Road Park.
Presented by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and the City of St. George with support from Visit Baton Rouge, the series invites families, music lovers, and neighbors from across the region to gather for two afternoons of live music, local art, food vendors, and connection in a relaxed, open-air setting.
Taking place on the north side of Highland Road Park, Sundays in St. George is designed to be more than a concert. It’s a vibrant, community-centered experience. The festival will feature a curated arts market spotlighting local makers and small businesses, diverse food vendors, and live musical performances representing multiple genres.
With a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, the series aims to reflect the cultural richness of the Greater Baton Rouge area by showcasing a wide array of vendors and performers—ensuring there is something for everyone.
Live Music Lineup
October 11: Phat Hat
October 18: Parish County Line
Both performances promise high-energy entertainment and crowd-pleasing sets from talented local musicians. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy an afternoon of music in the park.
