Join us for an intimate, movement-based gathering designed to raise awareness about the disparities in maternal health outcomes—particularly among Black women—and to advocate for better care and support. Open to mothers, mother figures, and caregivers, this workshop invites participants into a space where movement meets memory, birth reflection, and restoration. Through gentle somatic practices, guided improvisation, and communal dialogue, explore the embodied choreography of mothering—how care flows through our bodies, how we protect, resist, and sustain ourselves, and how we mother in a world that too often fails to hold us. This workshop is a radical call to reimagine mothering as an act of resistance, healing, and collective power.
