  • Teaching Artists Residency Program

Our unique teaching artist residency program is crafted for schools and other educational spaces. These classes may be specific arts discipline centered classes or may include arts integration curriculum.

  • Career Development

Arts Council offers a series of services which support an artist's movement to new positions or projects within their field. This support often includes coaching, mentoring, skills development, networking and career pathing.

  • Professional Development

Our professional development program serves artists and arts administrators in hopes participants gain new skills and experiences required to excel in their current pursuits.

  • Poetry Out Loud

Poetry Out Loud is a national, high school poetry recitation competition developed by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation. This free program teaches students about poetry through memorization & recitation.

  • Talent Advancement Program

The Talent Advancement Program (TAP) is a workforce development initiative designed to address the growing need for subject matter expertise within the Greater Baton Rouge creative sector. This year’s program will be offering professional training in video production, providing a combination of course work and hands-on training from area professionals.
