Building the next generation of creative professionals in Greater Baton Rouge.

Talent Advancement Program (TAP) is a workforce development initiative designed to address the growing need for subject matter expertise within the Greater Baton Rouge creative sector.

Each year, TAP offers professional training in a specific creative discipline — combining coursework with hands-on training from area professionals. The program is open to participants 18 years and older and takes place at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center.

Each career track is comprised of 10 sessions. After completing TAP, graduates are added to the Arts Council's roster of subject-matter experts for future work opportunities and job placement.

Plans are underway to expand TAP, allowing the Arts Council to address the growing needs of the larger creative marketplace.
